METLIFE STADIUM TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This ticket is a revocable license. TICKET HOLDER (“HOLDER”) AGREES, for himself/herself and for any accompanying guests: Ticket holder has read and agrees to these terms and the full version available online. By using this ticket Holder confirms that agreement. This ticket is a revocable license that only grants entry into MetLife Stadium (“Stadium”) and a spectator seat, or if specified on the ticket, a standing location, for the specified event, with no right of re-entry.
The Holder of this ticket voluntarily assumes all risk and danger of personal injury (including death) exposure to communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses or the causes thereof; property loss or damage of any kind, and all hazards arising from, or related to in any way to the activities, in whole or in part, for which this ticket is issued (the “Event”), whether occurring prior to, during, or after the Event, howsoever caused and whether by negligence or otherwise, including specifically (but not exclusively) any projected, thrown, hit, or hurled objects, whether caused by a spectator, person or condition in the Stadium, Sports Complex facility or its surroundings.
On behalf of you and your Related Persons (as defined below), you further hereby release MetLife Stadium, New Meadowlands Stadium Company, LLC (“NMSCO”), Giants Stadium LLC, Jets Stadium Development LLC, New York Football Giants, Inc., Giants Training Facility, LLC, New York Jets LLC, New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and each of their respective direct or indirect, partners, members, affiliates, principals, directors, officers, stockholders, employees, contractors, licensees, invitees, servants, representatives and agents (all of the foregoing, collectively, the “Releasees”) with respect to any and all claims that you or any of your Related Persons may have (or hereafter accrue) against MetLife Stadium and the other Releasees and that relate in any way to (i) exposure to COVID-19; (ii) entry into, or presence within or around, MetLife Stadium or any MetLife Stadium event (including all risks related thereto) or compliance with any protocols or Safety Requirements applicable to any MetLife Stadium event; or (iii) any interaction between you and your Related Persons, on the one hand, and any personnel of any of the Releasees present at any MetLife Stadium event, on the other hand, in each case whether caused by any action, inaction or negligence of MetLife Stadium and the other Releasees or otherwise. “Related Persons” means your heirs, assigns, executors, administrators, next of kin, anyone attending any MetLife Stadium event with you (which persons you represent have authorized you to act on their behalf for purposes of these terms), and other persons acting or purporting to act on your or their behalf.
Due to the uncertainty related to coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and any resulting disease (together with any mutation, adaptation, or variation thereof, “COVID-19”), your admission to MetLife Stadium is subject to all safety and health requirements and policies put in place by MetLife Stadium, including requirements relating to face masks and enhanced health screenings. Such policies and requirements as they may be updated from time to time, in the sole determination of MetLife Stadium, “Safety Requirements”. You acknowledge and agree to comply with the Safety Requirements (including all requirements that must be satisfied prior to or during any MetLife Stadium event), and attendance at any MetLife Stadium event is conditioned on such compliance.
All attendees hereby agree that they will not attend any MetLife Stadium event if any one or more of the following is true on the day of such MetLife Stadium event: (i) Tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days; (ii) Within the prior 48 hours, the attendee has experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention); (iii) If an attendee has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days and has not been fully vaccinated; or (iv) Within the prior 14 days, the attendee has travelled to a state or international territory identified by federal or applicable local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.
Failure to comply with Safety Requirements shall automatically terminate any rights that you may have in connection with this ticket and shall authorize to revoke this ticket, refuse admission to MetLife Stadium, or eject you from MetLife Stadium, with cause in each case, and subject you to all legal remedies available to MetLife Stadium.
You expressly acknowledge: (i) COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the world health organization; (ii) cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed in Bergen County, New Jersey metropolitan area, including in the vicinity of MetLife Stadium; (iii) COVID-19 is extremely contagious and there is an inherent danger and risk of exposure to COVID -19 in any place where people are present, including as a result of exposures individuals may have had in geographic areas other than Bergen County, New Jersey; (iv) no precautions, including the safety requirements described above or the protocols and requirements the CDC, federal, state and local government has put in place, can eliminate the risk of exposure to or contraction or transmission of COVID-19, and that such risk applies to everyone; (v) while people of all ages and health conditions have been adversely affected by COVID-19, public health authorities advise that people 65 or older and people with certain underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk, including (but not limited to) people with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma, serious heart conditions, compromised immune systems, severe obesity, diabetes, chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis and liver disease; (vi) scientific knowledge about COVID-19 is evolving and many aspects of COVID-19 remain subject to significant uncertainty; (vii) contracting COVID-19 can result in being subject to quarantine requirements, serious illness, temporary or permanent disability, other short-term and long-term health effects, and/or death, regardless of age or health condition; (viii) contracting COVID-19 can result in the further transmission of COVID-19 to my family members, friends and other persons; and (ix) federal, state and local governments and federal and state health agencies have, among other things, recommended social distancing where possible and, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. You voluntarily assume all risk and danger of personal injury (including death), sickness (including illness and other risks of exposure to COVID-19, or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness), whether occurring prior to, during, or after any MetLife Stadium event, however caused and whether by negligence or otherwise.
Holder agrees not to transmit, distribute, reproduce, or sell (or aid in transmitting, distributing, reproducing, or selling) any description, account, picture, video, or other form of reproduction of the Event, for which this ticket is issued, surrounding activities, or the logo of MetLife Stadium or any company involved in the Event. The Holder is prohibited from carrying alcoholic beverages, bottles, cans, coolers, or other unauthorized items onto the premises. Resale or attempted resale of this ticket in violation of applicable law is prohibited and is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or other compensation. Holder agrees to comply with the rules and regulations of the NMSCO and the State of New Jersey. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to, eject or bar from future events, any person, or confiscate any ticket and any alcoholic beverages, bottles, cans and coolers of any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly or fails to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein and/or as posted. Management is not responsible for (and will not provide refunds for) tickets obtained from sources other than the NMSCO or other authorized offices. Such tickets may be lost, stolen, or counterfeit, and will not be honored. Use of this ticket in violation of any law is strictly prohibited and will result in seizure, revocation and/or forfeiture of this license without refund.
HOLDER ACKNOWLEDGES THE EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED OR RESCHEDULED, and at the discretion of management, Holder may be issued a refund or a new ticket to another event. Any refund for this ticket may be obtained at place of purchase. MANAGEMENT’S LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF ANY TERM OF THIS TICKET SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FACE VALUE. IN NO EVENT SHALL MANAGEMENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY AMOUNT PAID IN EXCESS OF THE FACE VALUE FOR THIS TICKET. Holder acknowledges that the Holder’s image and likeness may be freely used as part of any transmission or reproduction or display of all or any part of the Event. Breach of any of the terms hereof, failure to comply with stadium rules, or the refunding to the Holder of the printed price of this ticket, shall automatically terminate any rights that the Holder may have hereunder, shall render illegal and unauthorized the Holder’s use of the ticket for any purchase, and shall authorize the NMSCO to withdraw the ticket, refuse admission to the stadium, or eject the Holder from the stadium. Breach of any of the terms of the license shall also subject the Holder to all legal remedies available to the NMSCO. The Holder and the Holder’s belongings may be searched upon entry into the stadium. By using this ticket and entering the stadium, the Holder consents to such searches and waives any related claims that might arise against the NMSCO. If the Holder elects not to consent to these searches, the Holder will be denied entry into the stadium.
By accessing the wireless network, Holder acknowledges that Holder agrees to be bound by the following terms. The wireless network service is provided by MetLife Stadium and is completely at their discretion. Holder’s access to the network may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason. Holder agrees not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited and Holder is fully responsible for Holder’s use. The wireless network is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
The date and time of the event is subject to change by Management in its sole discretion, and Holder may be relocated in the sole discretion of Management. No such change entitle shall Holder to a refund or any other remedy if Holder cannot attend or for any other reason or if Holder is relocated to a seat of comparable value.
All guests may be searched before or upon entry into the stadium and/or at other security checkpoints and prohibited items may be confiscated. All Holders consent to such searches and waive any claims against the MetLife Stadium arising from such searches. Admission will be denied to any Holder who does not consent to a search, and no refund will be provided.
Holder shall not collect or transmit any descriptions or data about the game to any commercial or gambling entity, no matter in what form. The event is protected by copyright and other laws.
Holder grants to the MetLife Stadium irrevocable permission to use, and to let others use, Holder’s image, likeness, voice, actions, and statements in any media now known or later invented. Holder waives all claims relating to such use.
