June 5, 2019 – The Rolling Stones are excited to announce The Wombats and Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real will join the North American ‘No Filter’ tour as guest artists in East Rutherford at MetLife Stadium. The Wombats will perform on August 1st and Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real on August 5th.

The Wombats – consisting of frontman, songwriter and lead guitarist Matthew “Murph” Murphy, bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen and drummer Dan Haggis – formed at the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts in 2003, and emerged in 2006 to swiftly became chart-topping and platinum selling champions with pop-rock hits like “Moving To New York,” “Kill The Director” and “Let’s Dance To Joy Division.” The band’s current Top 3 UK and Billboard 200 charting album BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE was released in the Spring of 2018.The triohave already celebrated a massive year, selling out a headline North American tour, supporting Weezer and The Pixies on select dates, and performing at festivals including Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds, plus selling out the SSE Wembley Arena in London earlier this year.

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real have seen their profile rise dramatically in the two years since the release of their self-titled Fantasy Records debut.  In the past year alone the band headlined shows all over the world, collaborated with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper on the A Star Is Born soundtrack and appeared alongside them in the film, all while continuing to blow minds as Neil Young’s go-to musical ensemble both on the road and in the studio. The band reaches a new high-water mark with Turn Off The News (Build A Garden) due June 14th, 2019.  Straddling rock and roll, country, soul, folk and R&B, and with guest turns from Margo Price, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Micah Nelson, Kesha, Shooter Jennings, Lucius and Neil Young among others, the new album is Lukas Nelson at his best, an artist at the peak of his powers, backed by Promise of the Real, one of the most talented, in-demand rock and roll ensembles working today.

The Rolling Stones will make stops in 15 cities across the US and Canada. The tour follows last year’s NO FILTER dates that have taken Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood back out on the road amassing rave reviews as they played to sold out stadiums throughout the UK and Europe.
