Tickets Are Available in a Venue Pass Which Includes Ecuador vs. Haiti &
a Marquee Quarterfinal that Could Feature the USA, Brazil and Colombia among Others
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (Feb. 22, 2016) – Ecuador and Haiti have been drawn to face off on June 12 in the first of three matches of Copa America Centenario hosted by MetLife Stadium.
Last night’s Official Draw, held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, also determined all of the potential teams that will appear in the Quarterfinal match on June 17 at MetLife Stadium. The winner of Group B, which includes Brazil, Ecuador, Haiti and Peru, will play the second-place finisher in Group A, which includes the USA, Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama.
Tickets to Ecuador vs. Haiti match and the June 17 Quarterfinal are on sale now in the two-game NY/NJ Venue Pass. Venue Passes can be purchased online at ca2016.com or by phone by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. Fans should note that tickets for Copa America Centenario are only available through these outlets and not through the MetLife Stadium Box Office.
Early response from fans has been strong and demand is surging now that both local and traveling fans know where to see their favorite teams. The Copa America Centenario Local Organizing Committee is encouraging fans to purchase Venue Passes early to ensure access to tickets.
The third match hosted by MetLife Stadium will be the Copa America Centenario Final on June 26. Fans that purchased a Venue Pass in the first phase of ticketing, which ended February 19, will be entered into a lottery for priority access to purchase tickets to the final.
