Region’s marquee tournament to be played throughout North America from July 7-26
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (Tuesday, December 16, 2014) – MetLife Stadium will welcome the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup next July, hosting a knockout round date. The complete groups and schedule, including selection of dates and matches for the knockout round and the awarding of the Final, will be announced in 2015.

The 2015 Gold Cup will mark its first return to MetLife Stadium since 2011, when the venue hosted a quarterfinal doubleheader featuring Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Costa Rica in front of almost 80,000 fans.
Taking place every two years, the Gold Cup is the official national team championship of the region, routinely drawing capacity crowds and millions of viewers across the region. Featuring the best players from the confederation, the tournament includes the region’s current top 12 national teams.
MetLife Stadium has hosted international soccer each year since opening in 2010, including Argentina vs. Brazil on June 8, 2012, the highest attended soccer match in New Jersey history, with 81,994 fans in attendance. On August 4, 2013, four of the top European clubs (Valencia CF, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Chelsea FC) took part in the 2013 International Champions Cup.
