Tour stop returns to the New York-New Jersey metro area with the world’s best Supercross racers on Saturday, April 25

New York, NY - (October 27, 2014) – Feld Motor Sports® and FOX Sports announced today that this year’s Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., will begin at 3:00 p.m. ET and will air live for the first-time ever on the FOX Network broadcast on Saturday, April 25. Practice/qualifying and the capacity crowd pit party will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET.

Monster Energy Supercross made its debut at MetLife Stadium in April, where 62,217 fans watched the world’s greatest racers compete on the same field that Super Bowl XLVIII was played on just months before.

“Live network coverage on FOX from MetLife Stadium is a huge step in the right direction for Monster Energy Supercross,” said Ken Hudgens, COO, Feld Motor Sports. “With a 2:30 p.m. ET start to opening ceremonies and 3:00 p.m. ET race time, Monster Energy Supercross will give fans and live viewers at home a chance to be a part of history. The 9:00 a.m ET start to the pit party, from MetLife Stadium, is a welcomed enhancement.”

Additionally, fans can follow the championship live on the FOX Sports GO app, which will provide live streaming of every Monster Energy Supercross race.

“The extreme nature of this sport and the excitement of the fans made Monster Energy Supercross an excellent addition to the MetLife Stadium event line-up,” said Brad Mayne, President and CEO of MetLife Stadium. “Supercross is an incredible live event and we are proud to bring this fun, intense, and action-packed competition back to MetLife Stadium in April 2015, with an earlier start time.”

The FOX Sports broadcast team of Ralph Sheheen, Jeff Emig and Jenny Taft returns in 2015, with guest analyst appearances from five-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael.

Additional television announcements surrounding the 2015 Monster Energy Supercross seasons will be coming shortly. 2015 Monster Energy Supercross television schedule (all times ET and subject to change):
