NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) -
You'd think that 6-feet, 9-inch and 300-pound John is a football player. But no, he's just an extra big giants fan and an equally huge fan of MetLife's gourmet food court.
MetLife Executive Chef Eric Borgia is the the one in charge of cooking up some of the most tasty, unique stadium food around. His personal favorite food stand is the one named for his own grandma, Nonna Fusco's.
"It started with grandma's meatballs, and expanded to Nonna's Italian specialties... with chicken and broccoli rabe sandwiches and a pasta bar," he says.
Home Food Advantage (as it's known around here) has 13 food carts in all, from Asian to Mexican street food and even Jersey-famous diner classics.
But, MetLife CEO Brad Mayne says some of the prices are as appetizing as the concessions themselves, thanks to a little help from MasterCard.
"You can get, for example, a turkey wrap, apple and soda and you can get that for 5 bucks if you're paying with your MasterCard," he says.
Mayne tells us the prices at the conventional concession stands stayed the same as last year, pleasing those who already pay big bucks to watch football.
Now I know you thought that food was delicious, the prices are great too, any comments or concerns fill out one of the comment cards. The CEO reads all of them.
