Brazil will also play Colombia on September 5 at 8 p.m. ET at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Brazil, the only team to win the FIFA World Cup five times, is currently hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Brazil kicked off the 2014 World Cup with a 3-1 win yesterday, June 12 over Croatia in Sao Paulo. The Brazilians will face Mexico on June 17 before closing out the first round against Cameroon on June 23.
Managed by 2002 World Cup winning coach Luis Felipe Scolari, the side is led by FC Barcelona star Neymar, Paris-Saint Germain defender Thiago Silva, FC Barcelona right-back Dani Alves and Chelsea midfielder Oscar amongst numerous star players.
Ecuador will also participate in the World Cup, opening up its participation in Group E on June 15 against Switzerland before facing Honduras on June 20. “La Tri” will then close the first round against France on June 25.
Coached by Colombian Reinaldo Rueda, the team features Manchester United winger Luis Antonio Valencia, Christian Noboa of Dynamo Moscow and Jefferson Montero of Morelia.
